Midtown Michael Brown made his first appearance at TPS in a long time, riding along with El Jefe and Kate Schorr, the new rep from one of our favorite producers, K Vintners:

K Vintners Vino Pinot Grigio Washington State 2011.  Grade=Outstanding.  Characters of lime zest, green apple skin, limestone and melon emerge in this light-bodied, easy-drinking white wine.

K Vintners Viognier Columbia Valley 2011.  Grade=Outstanding.  One of my favorite Viogniers (for more than the obvious reasons), this is a really lovely, well-balanced and light-bodied white wine with hints of pear, white peach, litchi and mineral.

K Vintners Syrah Mildbrandt Wahluke Slope Columbia Valley 2010.  Grade=Outstanding.  Only slightly herby, with pretty red flower notes and a smoky note all play out amongst its red and black fruited character.
